Research Interests: Dr. Uray is studying the effect of hormones and alcohol on brain development. His work is directed at helping to understand the mechanisms which cause the nervous system deficiencies observed in children born to mothers who abused alcohol during their pregnancies (fetal alcohol syndrome).
