Research Interests:
Dr. Stuart works closely with the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture toward its goal of reducing the use of chemical pesticides--and their associated health risks--by exploiting natural control agents to suppress pest insect populations. Her laboratory is currently focused on improving the baculovirus as a biopesticide to control fall armyworm infestations.
