Research Interests: General research interests include a) regulation of the expression and function of ion channels and neurotransmitter receptors in normal and diseased muscle, and b) developmental alterations in synaptic physiology, c) interactions between ion channels and the membrane cytoskeleton. His interest in ion channel expression and function has significance with respect to understanding functional cellular interactions in a variety of organ systems.
